Cornerstone Youth Collective (CYC) was founded by Miss Becknell, driven by a desire to create meaningful change in the social services sector. She recognized that many operational practices in existing organizations did not align with her values. Determined to make a real difference, Miss Becknell decided that simply working within these systems was not enough. She wanted to create an organization that truly reflected her vision for comprehensive and compassionate support for marginalized youth and young adults.

This led to the establishment of Cornerstone Youth Collective, aimed at addressing the gaps in support and resources and providing long-term stability and success for underrepresented communities. Under Miss Becknell's leadership, CYC focuses on bridging gaps in long-term housing, fostering economic opportunities, and ensuring holistic well-being for its clients, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to creating lasting positive impacts in the community.
